Payments

By Mail

Checks and money orders may be mailed to the University lockbox along with the payment stub from the Student Account Statement. A return envelope is included with debit-balance Statements for your convenience.

Checks must be in U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank.

Checks and money orders must include the student's name and Social Security or nine-digit Columbia University Identification number to ensure timely crediting.

Payments must be received, not simply postmarked, by the due date in order to avoid late payment charges. Your student account will be updated within two business days of when your payment is processed.

Note: The lockbox is a processing center for payments by check and money order only. Do not use this address for any mailing that requires signature for receipt, nor for any correspondence. Correspondence should be sent to Student Financial Services in 210 Kent Hall.
