Description:
Scholars and advanced graduate students engaged in research on ancient, medieval, or modern times in Turkey, in any field of the humanities and social sciences, are eligible. Applicants must have fulfilled all preliminary requirements for the doctorate except the dissertation before accepting a fellowship. ARIT operates housing, study, and research facilities for researches in Turkey at its branches in Istanbul and Ankara. ARIT Fellowship applicants are responsible for obtaining research permission from the Turkish Embassy.
