Since 1981, AFAR has provided more than $100 million to nearly 2,500 new investigators and students. The Research Grant program was created to address specific areas of research that focus on the aging process and age-related diseases. Projects may include basic, clinical or epidemiological research. Up to four awards of $60,000 will be awarded.
