Fellowships for American Indians pursuing a Master's degree or the PhD are available. Applicants must be members of federally recognized tribes, who demonstrate financial need. Fellowships are for 1 year and are based on financial need. The grants are administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. There is no preference given to any field of study.
